Doctor Rick by MatticusDecimusRex
Doctor Rick
The last version of this meme came down because of a fellow, who was very respectful, addressed an issue with the picture.  He provided me with a different and much better picture for this meme.  I just wish I was able to make it bigger.  Doctor Who and Rick and Morty crossover.  Wuhbuhluhbuhdubdub.

After a lengthy dry spell, I have released three damn silly new memes in the last few days.  Other than that, not too much happening in the way of posters.  On a personal note, I will be leaving the (not so) Gold Coast of California to the much more ripe with opportunity Austin, Texas.

The Future is Ours...if you can Count. Ah ah ah. by MatticusDecimusRex
The Future is Ours...if you can Count. Ah ah ah.
My dad, sister and I had a conversation about The Warriors over dinner tonight, which was chili dogs.  We talked about different characters ding different things and we all had the epiphany that the Count would be Cyrus.  This was the result.

From the desk of Professor. Richard McMillan Ph. D. (Anderson University.  Anderson, Indiana.)

Entry 1: November 31st, 1994
This so-called ‘Slender Man’ doesn’t exist.  I can’t begin to count how many times I’ve said this to my students in the 15 years I’ve been teaching this World Religions class, which pretty much has devolved into a damn urban legends class.  It was entertaining the first 20 semesters, but now this…thing has become the bane of my academic existence since it gained, for lack of a better term, popularity in the last ten years.  I’ve studied all I can about this farce just to be able to humor my students, but every time it backfires, word spreads about the ‘Slender Man Class’ and all I get are Humanities majors that want to be able to impress their girlfriends with an applicable teaching class instead of those underwater basket weaving courses they offer on the other side of campus.  I guess it could be worse.  Another semester comes to an end in three weeks and then I don’t have to worry about this for a few months.

Entry 2: April 4th, 1995
Today something interesting actually happened.  I went through the Slender Man lecture today and apart from the normal group of students who just show up for today’s lecture and then never turn up again was a young man from Virginia who claims he has irrefutable proof that the ‘Slender Man’ exists.  He showed me some photographs taken from a wood some 20 miles outside Roanoke(!) and while they looked real, I do know that photographs can be doctored, as has been the case with many of the big myths throughout the last century.  I’ll go see Tom over in Arts.  He knows how to tell the difference between real and faked photos.

Entry 2 contd.
I’m at a loss for words really.  Tom verified that the photographs are real.  He said that the most popular way to produce hoax photographs is by either drawing on them, line of sight camera tricks or gluing pieces of one photo onto another.  He said there was no evidence of tampering on any of them.  I askd if it can be just some costumed joker, but he pointed out the scale of the subject.  There’s no way that it can be a man in a costume.  I think I need to pursue this lead.  I haven’t felt this excited to be wrong since I was a grad student.  Michael (the student with the photos) has allowed me to keep the pictures while I embark on what I’m hoping to be a fruitful journey, but I’m fairly that it will be a bust just like the creature from Loch Ness and the Sasquatch.  At least this will be a break in the monotony of academics.

Entry 3: June 10th, 1995
After a few hours’ drive I’ve arrived in Roanoke to begin my search for the ‘Slender Man.’ I was able to get away from home by telling my wife that I would be away for a week being a guest lecturer in the Occult Academics Department at Miskatonic University.  I have with me a 35mm still camera and an 8mm video camera along with 8 hour cassette tapes.  I also was able to procure 6 bags of fluorescent glow sticks.  They should come in handy if I happen to find myself in the forest when night falls.  One can never be too careful, I suppose.  The Chamber of Commerce has provided me with a map (or at least as much of a complete one as could be found) of the town and outlying forested areas.  Michael was able to provide me with a few locations of where the ‘Slender Man’ has been sighted.  I’ve marked the map with where I’m going to search; there are five areas that show the most activity.  There’s a large resort at Smith Mountain Lake, it’s the furthest so I’ll definitely save it for last.  I’ll start with the woods in the morning.  More entries to follow.

(End of Chapter One)
The Search for the Slender Man: Chapter One
This is my first foray into actual writing.  I've been bating around my ideas with this story for nearly a year, but this is a good start; at least in my humble opinion.  I've been heavily influenced by Lovecraft (for setting and tone) and Stoker (in the diary form) and I think it bodes well for a Slender Man story.  Please give me constructive criticism as this is my first real writing that I've ever done.
